Camping in Sambawan Island √

IMG_3929

I’ve been planning this trip since last year but it’s always the time and the limited transportation that hinders me from visiting this place. Also, I waited for my drawing friends to become available. =D But I’m glad I made it this year without planning too much. In fact, I bought some of my camping essentials and a ferry ticket on the spot.  Thanks to my spontaneous boyfriend who made this trip possible. He knows I won’t go camping without him. 🙂 Lol Continue reading

Travel Guide: Mati City, Davao Oriental

Of all the places in the Philippines, Why Davao? This was one of the many questions that my friends asked me when I booked this trip. Okay, so here are my answers that will convince you to book a ticket right away=D! Firstly, because I like to experience how it feels to be in the 3rd safest city in the world. Secondly, because it is the hometown of our President. Lastly, because I want to go beaching in Samal, surf at Dahican beach, and ride an ultralight plane in Mati. Davao is a huge place. You will surely never run out of activities and places to experience.IMG_2326.JPG

We (with Joemar and his sister Joey) arrived at Davao International airport equipped with confidence and a little knowledge about the place. Continue reading

Travel Guide: Siargao Island

Another year ends, but another year of travel begins. While they were busy preparing for Noche Buena, I was in my room packing my bag and thinking what would it be like to ride a wave for the first time. Yay! I want to find out why everybody is so in love with surfing. Why everyone says it’s addictive? Why everyone keeps on coming back to Siargao Island?  All these questions will be answered on this post.

Travel Guide: Sumilon Island

A surprising long holiday was proclaimed and I was like–How come I didn’t know there’s a long weekend coming? Haha! Right then and there, I searched for touristy places and found the beautiful sandbar of Sumilon as an ideal quick getaway.

Sumilon Island

As early as 4:30am, Joemar and I headed to South Bus terminal to catch the earliest possible trip to Oslob. I normally get bored with land trips, so I was just sleeping the whole time. Joemar woke me up when we reached Dalaguete and decided to eat our only food supply (crispy chicken sandwich from Mcdo) Hi there McDonalds! Haha!=D We talked about our future trips while watching the scenic coastal towns in the south. After 4 hours and a half, we finally arrived at Sumilon docking station.

Palawan is the country’s cleanest and most peaceful city. I have witnessed that during my 4 days stay in Coron. It has been dubbed the “last ecological frontier” in honor of its unique ecological balance. It has a land area of 1.5 million hectares, composed of 1,780 islands and islets, and subdivided into 23 municipalities. One of these municipalities is Coron which is located in the Calamianes Group of islands in Northern Palawan.

Travel Guide: Camotes Island

For the third time, the travel buff visited Camotes Island! This is a company paid trip, so I would like to say thank you to my ROC family. 🙂

Like most companies, we also have our yearly company outing. We were asked for suggestions. They prefer an overnight stay that would only take an hour or two from the city. The travel buff gave 2 suggestions.

Travel Guide: Kalanggaman Island

The Sandbar

Kalanggaman island has always been part of my travel list, and I will not let this summer ends without visiting the island, so the travel buff made a quick travel plan. I invited random friends to go with me but due to circumstances beyond our control, only 4 of us confirmed and survived. My boyfriend Joemar who also has a serious case of wanderlust, his sister Joey, the blogger behind memorablelines.co, and my office mate Queenie.

Travel Guide: Bohol

Welcome, 2016. It becomes my tradition to go to the beach or just travel every new year. Why? I believe this has something to do with our beliefs like eating “biko” a Filipino rice cake and all sugary foods for a sweet life throughout the year.  So, if I start a year with the beach, this simply means countless beach days the entire year. Aha!Nice! =D. I packed my things and make sure my camera is fully charged, sunblock, shades, bikinis etc… I booked the earliest trip which was 8am and after almost 3 hours of travel with my boyfriend, we were welcomed by a pristine white sand beach in Bohol.

Travel Guide: Boracay Island

IMG_1038
On top of my travel list is the powdery white sand beach and the famous destination for relaxation. Boracay Island! Boracay is separated in three stations. The station 1 is where the famous Mama Mary is located and is less crowded. Station 2 is for party goers. Station 3 is an underdeveloped paradise. Expect a long walk if you want to go sightseeing on the 3 stations.
