For the third time, the travel buff visited Camotes Island! This is a company paid trip, so I would like to say thank you to my ROC family. 🙂
Like most companies, we also have our yearly company outing. We were asked for suggestions. They prefer an overnight stay that would only take an hour or two from the city. The travel buff gave 2 suggestions.
Kalanggaman island has always been part of my travel list, and I will not let this summer ends without visiting the island, so the travel buff made a quick travel plan. I invited random friends to go with me but due to circumstances beyond our control, only 4 of us confirmed and survived. My boyfriend Joemar who also has a serious case of wanderlust, his sister Joey, the blogger behind memorablelines.co, and my office mate Queenie.
Apart from my interest in books and traveling, I am also a self-proclaimed health enthusiast. When I live away from home to work, I became very independent. Yeey! I’m freeee! I had to do my laundry, pay my bills, and cook my own food. Continue reading →
My friends decided to spend a weekend somewhere with a beach but should not be far from the city, so we head over to agoda and other booking sites. Mactan island offers a lot of beautiful resorts. Continue reading →
Looking for a beach where you can take a quick dip?…Visit Pandanon Island!
Pandanon is part of Bohol and has almost 2,ooo residents. If you’re from Cebu, the only possible way to get there is to charter a boat from Hadsan in Mactan. Boat rental ranges from 2k-8k depending on its capacity. This includes a visit to Talima and Nalusuan where you can go snorkeling. Continue reading →
Who would not want a taste of Amsterdam? Yes, you read it correctly. A mini Amsterdam located in Sirao, Cebu City. I was amazed by the awe-inspiring beauty of nature shared by a friend on social media and I found out that it was just a few minutes away from the city. So together with my friends, we went to Sirao. At first, we were hesitant because we heard that it will be harvested on that same day. But there’s no harm in trying, they said.:) After few minutes of travel, we arrived in the place and saw the 5000sq meters celosia farm. Entrance fee is P20 and you can picture all you want. And please..be careful not to step on the flowers.
After a busy day at work, you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life for a moment. But considering your little amount of time and money, you can’t just pack your things and go out-of-town. It requires time especially if you travel with someone.
So, where would be the best place to visit instead? I personally suggest Tops Cebu. It’s a 20 minutes drive from the city with an extra uphill adventure.Continue reading →
Welcome, 2016. It becomes my tradition to go to the beach or just travel every new year. Why? I believe this has something to do with our beliefs like eating “biko” a Filipino rice cake and all sugary foods for a sweet life throughout the year. So, if I start a year with the beach, this simply means countless beach days the entire year. Aha!Nice! =D. I packed my things and make sure my camera is fully charged, sunblock, shades, bikinis etc… I booked the earliest trip which was 8am and after almost 3 hours of travel with my boyfriend, we were welcomed by a pristine white sand beach in Bohol.
Bohol is a popular tourist destination with its numerous unspoiled beaches and extraordinary attractions.Continue reading →
On top of my travel list is the powdery white sand beach and the famous destination for relaxation. Boracay Island! Boracay is separated in three stations. The station 1 is where the famous Mama Mary is located and is less crowded. Station 2 is for party goers. Station 3 is an underdeveloped paradise. Expect a long walk if you want to go sightseeing on the 3 stations.
